About the League

The Full Count League is an over-16 baseball league in Western Massachusetts. Begun in 2001 with three teams, the league has seen great success, boasting between 10-12 teams and over 200 players. The league's goal is to provide a competetive home to the area's baseball players while being accessible to those players with busy work and school schedules.

Each 16 game season typically begins in early June and runs through mid- to late-July. The league's top teams move on to play in a tournament featuring best-of-three and best-of-five game series to determine the league champion.

Outside of the regular season and playoff schedule, the Full Count League also holds an annual All-Star Game featuring the top players as voted by the league's coaches. Teams have the opportunity to draft players in a pre-season draft after seeing prospective players at open draft practices, which are open to anyone wishing to tryout for a spot on a team.

Draft practices are normally held in late-April or early-May, depending on weather and field conditions.

Finally, the league also hosts an annual golf tournament. This tournament, held at Chicopee Country Club, is open to the public to register and participate. Registration forms are made available on the site prior to the tournament.
